Switzerland Innovation Park Ticino represents an operational platform where companies, startups, and research institutions collaborate on the development of new technologies and high added value solutions. The model is based on thematic Competence Centers, which foster exchanges between scientific expertise and industrial needs, accelerating research and development (R&D) processes.
Located in a strategic position on the north–south axis between Zurich and Milan, the site acts as a gateway to Ticino and a connection point between economic and scientific ecosystems, offering advanced infrastructure and a collaboration-oriented environment.
The Park is governed by a non-profit SA (limited company).

We enable innovative companies to develop their products and processes by bringing together expertise from Ticino’s universities, public institutions, regulatory bodies and other industry partners. We provide the necessary infrastructure, open innovation community and trusted environment where local and international companies and startups can further accelerate their time-to-market roadmap and explore innovation and tech trends.
We aim to contribute to the growth of innovation activities and their value generation in Ticino by engaging with regional and international partners.
Future
The future development of Switzerland Innovation Park Ticino will focus on strengthening existing Competence Centers and evaluating new thematic areas aligned with technological evolution, socio-economic needs, and global and regional trends. At the same time, the Park will continue to consolidate its role within the Switzerland Innovation network, expanding collaborations at both national and international level.
A key milestone will be the realization and progressive activation of the “Quartiere Officine” district in Bellinzona.
Dedicated to the Park’s innovative ecosystem.
This core area will feature two specialized buildings providing premium office and lab spaces within a broader 120,000 sqm urban development for R&D, education, commerce, and housing.
